| Kids are more grown up than babies and they should definitely have a say in their bedroom. Remember, they play games, listen to music, or just lie down doing nothing. They also want their privacy.Talk to them about colors, fabrics and themes and let them air their views. Wallpaper and paint really add color to the room and if you do use paint, allow for a glossy finish. Have your child select a theme for himself. |
If you use wallpaper, you could have aquariums, airplanes, or jungle motifs. Play safe with the window draperies. Use shades or blinds and if your kid wants curtains keep them short.
Always remember, decorating a bedroom with your kid means a lot to him and to you as well.
